If you publish well-optimized content/SEO-friendly content for your users, search engines may show your post in the top results for related queries. Thus, incorporating an SEO strategy into your content may increase traffic to your site and expand your audience.

1.Primary and Additional Keyword Research

First, you have to do keyword research before you begin writing. Then, if you want to come on top in search results, you have to research which keywords your audience is searching for a related niche.Keyword Research

It’s tempting to grab as many keywords as possible and optimize the text for all of them while writing for SEO. But, unfortunately, it may lead to unclear, jumbled content.

So, pick one main keyword and look deeply into it.

Now go for additional Keywords, and these keywords should be related to your main Keyword, so these keywords do not shift the focus of the post and support the main Keyword.

2.Check search results with your targeted Keyword

Examine what types of articles are currently ranking for your targeted keyword on Google. It is a part of the study, and it will help you find out what kind of content Google thinks is ideal for these kinds of queries.

You can get an idea from the search results and understand the pattern of the article.

3.Make a plan for your post’s structure

post structure

A clear structure is required to write SEO-friendly blog content. It means that each post should have the following information:

  1. Introduce your topic in the first one or two paragraphs.
  2. Write the main message in the body and explain.
  3. Write a conclusion and summarise the main idea.

In a few phrases, write down what you want to express in each of the three sections after writing your article’s summary.

Now is the moment to take your writing seriously.

4.Use Well optimize Meta Title

Main keywords in Meta titles are crucial for the SEO of your content. Post Title and Meta Title are different things.Meta Title

If you have not specified the Meta Title, then Post Title will be treated as meta title.

Example:

Meta Title: What search engines display your post in search results.

Post Title: How your viewer sees the title of your blog post/page.

5.Meta Description

In Google results, the meta description appears beneath the page title. If you write it correctly, it can be the ideal technique to convince a user to click on your link rather than one of your competitors.Meta description

Meta descriptions can be added to an article using the WordPress SEO plugin. You cannot ignore the importance of these descriptions in search engine rankings.

If you haven’t yet included meta descriptions to your website, start doing now. First, make sure your primary keyword is present in the meta description.

Using SEO plugins, you should add a meta description to any previously published posts without one.

By optimizing your post meta descriptions, you can ensure that every post you publish has the best chance of bringing in more traffic.

Because Google treats each blog post as a separate web page, you can rank each one for specific keywords.

6.Make Permalinks readable and remove STOP words

To help your readers understand what the page will be about, build a good URL that properly represents the page’s content.stop words

Make your URL meaningful and relevant to the primary Keyword on the page.

The search engine ignores words like “a,” “an,” “the,” and many others. Usually, our post titles have lots of stop words, and by default, the permalink would be the same as the title.

For Example:

In this permalink, “to” and “a” are the STOP words in the above example. You can edit the permalink and remove STOP keywords by using SEO plugins.

7.Add Visuals in your post

In addition to optimizing the writing for SEO, images are an essential part of the content.

Different graphics on a website can help you provide information to your users and distribute your content more effectively.

To provide value to your audience more quickly and more appealingly, use infographics, checklists, templates, and other visual content with alt text included the main keywords.

If your content is valuable, engaging, and relevant, you’ll get more backlinks because Google trusts your content more when it has backlinks from authoritative domains. As a result, your website receives a higher ranking from the search engine.

To write SEO Friendly Articles, content structure, writing skills, and visuals are very important. In short – Content is the king.

8. Stop writing the first paragraph without a targeted keyword

Many bloggers are starting their blog with a long intro without the targeted keyword. If you are also one of them, STOP that thing and include the targeted keyword in your first paragraph.

Targeted keyword in the first 10% of the content is good for SEO. You can also place your targeted keyword at the beginning of the post. This will help Google to understand the topic of your article.

9. Use internal and external links

A large number of bloggers are avoiding internal and external links. Sometimes they use internal links but hesitate to add external links in the article.

It isn’t good for the SEO of the article. Internal links and external links are essential if you want to write SEO optimized article.

Internal Links: These links are hyperlinks on your posts or pages, when any reader clicks on these links then he/she will redirect to the targeted page or post on your website.

This is an example of an internal link (10+ Free Social Media share plugins for WordPress)

Internal links help you to engage your reader on your website or blog. It will increase the engaging time on your site, Google will understand that you have good content on your website.

You can also decrease the bounce rate on your website with internal links.

Bounce rate means if any reader or user comes to your site and leave that page without open any other page on your site, then it will count as a bounce on your website.

External Links: External links are also the hyperlinks like internal links, but if any user or reader click on these links then they redirect to the targeted post or page on another website.

If you use these external and internal links in your article, then it indicates that your post is informative and valid.

External links are good for SEO but make sure you are pointing to the related topics on reputed sites.

Why is content important in Search engine optimization?

One of the essential elements of SEO is search engine optimized content. It is imperative in deciding who visits your website and what information they take away once they see it. It’s also crucial for raising your conversion rate.

How Google and other search engines are working?

It’s essential to understand how search engines (such as Google and Bing) work and how people do searches. I’ll use Google as an example because it’s the most commonly used search engine.

Google checks the code of a website once it has been launched and indexes it. The process of constructing indexes for record sets is known as indexing.

Google uses this method to classify the vast volumes of data by continuously scanning or “spidering” new and existing websites. This process enables Google to get the specific needed information quickly.

When someone searches on Google, then Google evaluates those keywords almost instantly and searches its huge indexed database for matches to those terms. As a result, Google returns only the most relevant SERPs.

Why Content Is The King

Having content on your website is just the beginning of having a website that people can locate. Unique and SEO-optimized content is the next step for you.

It’s crucial not to copy or reuse someone else’s copy, as tempting as it may be. The search engines hate copying text from another website.

Search engines give priority to the creator on the search engine results page. As a result, ensure that your website contains unique and original text.
